Count today as October 11.
Today was pretty good. Managed to complete 3 years' worth of Physics 'O' Level papers, and the A. Math 'O' Level Specimen Paper for 2006. Not a lot but it's something, though I really have to catch up in Physics Armoury.
Spent the morning with Rashid & Janet at Tampines Library, free from the searing heat outside... but still studying. Halfway through the session, something embarrassing happened to Janet (shall not disclose it here). It was way disgusting from the way she described her predicament, but in actual fact I don't think it was that terrible because no one else knew about it other than Rashid & I.
Went for lunch with them and Janet got a pair of new pants at some second-hand department store. It fit her more than snugly, though. She kept complaining about how she couldn't breathe when the pants were just squeezing her thighs a little too tightly. I swear, she's the queen of melodrama.
I left the library at around 3pm and headed off to meet Cliff at Bedok Interchange. The weather kinda toned down a bit when we reached his house, but the atmosphere was still as drowsy as ever. Taught him a bit of Chemistry and gained something along the way too. I have to admit that I was not the best teacher, so sorry about that if you're reading this, Cliff. But we kinda ended up teaching each other, heh.
Stopped by Each a Cup when I got back to Pasir Ris station, and got myself a cup of... red milk tea. It's my favourite from that shop, though it costs a whopping $2, which is considered expensive for me, since I've always been indulging in the $1-a-cup privilege across all the bubble tea shops near my school. I remember Ailin getting herself a green apple yoghurt smoothie when the store opened a branch at the airport (which tasted great). Contemplated getting that but the price of $2.30 completely deterred me from doing so. Somehow, I'm afraid of overspending and I believe in first learning how to earn and manage my own money before entitling myself to go that extra mile where spending is concerned.
Going back to school for extra Biology classes tomorrow. Hopefully the lessons will be productive.
Can't wait to get everything done and ready. Need to gear up for the exams.
