As you know, today's the start of a new year (like you readers didn't know >_>).

And what better way to start a New Year's night than spending it in church? I'm guessing it was more than a coincidence that New Year's Day fell on a Saturday, but I'm thankful all the same. Service was great & Pastor's messages were effective (as usual).

I'm guessing the entire cell group was swept by some New Year's hype, because after service, we went all the way to the city to grab dinner. It was a pretty long distance considering the fact that we were at Expo. And when we went there, we had Yoshinoya........

I wouldn't say it's a very wasted trip, anyway. At least we had a chance to catch up with one another in the train ride from Expo to Orchard. Not to mention, I also learnt a teeny little bit of Japanese along the way with the guidebook Cliff got from home. Only 5 words, to be exact.

The whole affair ended at around 10.30pm. Walked around the streets a little after that, and we saw the same scenes, same buildings, same stores and such. I'm already getting quite tired of the city, hahaha.

Got home in time for midnight.

How was your New Year's Day?
