I reached home at 12.30am - say "whoa". After a nice shower and a light shelling from my mom, I'm finally sitting before my laptop, typing out this entry.

So, I was quite satisfied today! Alright, not quite, but very. Firstly, I got a new printer-scanner. I've been putting off getting a new one for too long already. I haven't been printing, scanning or copying documents since perhaps half a year ago because one day, my old model decided to just give up and conk out on me. Also, the inner layer of its scanning surface was a favourite gathering spot for dust particles, so my documents would often turn out blurry in the computer when scanned.

Watched "Gulliver's Travels" with my mom and brother, too. Guess I'll have to suffer for another few years under the influence such empty flicks until my brother finally enters secondary school and hopefully, grows out of them. Even if he doesn't, he'd most probably watch such films with his friends.

Soon after I got the printer set up and ready to go, I left the house again - this time, to Yi Ren's crib. He offered to host us for a small dinner since his parents and siblings were all away. For the meals, Cliff prepared some delicious Japanese curry, while Tay Xi dished out chawanmushi. There were also bottles of sparkling juices at our disposal and a pot of instant miso soup for sharing. Not to mention, microwaved popcorn chicken.

During the preparation, I offered to help out with cooking the Japanese curry. I screwed quite a lot of things (such as accidentally dropping the chicken cubes into the dirty sink) but thankfully, everything turned out fine in the end. Overall, it was a good feast. Enjoyed the company & fellowship. :)

I'll admit I was a little frustrated because by the time dinner ended it got really late (i.e. 11.30pm) and Yi Ren lived in Bedok. It took me almost an hour to reach home, but it was partly my fault because I offered to send Tay Xi home. I was quite nervous when I realised that some of the bus services direct to my home have ceased operation, but I managed to reach home in the end, so that was a relief.

Anyway, tomorrow's going to be exciting too. I'll be meeting up with some of my awesome classmates for an evening movie. :) Really missed them; haven't been seeing them ever since work started and all. We're going to catch "Confessions" (surprisingly, it's still in the Singapore box office). I'm also thinking of opening my house for visits someday, since Rashid suggested so. I'm not very sure about that still, though.

Hope you readers had a good time, too.
