Take "today" as Christmas Eve.
Gifts from the month of December.
Today was pretty simple. Spent the whole afternoon cooped up at home (it was heaven since I haven't been able to really relax ever since the holidays started), then went to church in the night. Met Hui Jie, Li Ting & Christon at Expo station and walked to the hall (it was packed) for the Christmas service.
Tonight's Christmas production was, as usual, one which lived up to the church's standards. I really have to give it up for the Drama ministry for their novel approach towards the annual productions. Instead of simply using the classic story between Mary & Joseph, they managed to write a creative yet relevant plot to grace the occasion. :)
After church, I headed to Bedok with my cell group for supper. Had fried oyster omelette and chendol. Disgusting combination, I know, but you can't deny that those two foods taste great (well, at least when they're separate). We then went to Cliff's house to have a mini Christmas countdown, but I missed it because I waited for Ailin at the station with Shanggei while the rest ahead of me. Speaking of Ailin, her boyfriend is surprisingly shy. Haven't really got to dig out much from him since we've never really talked.
Anyway, I'll share a piece of good news: Li Ting responded to the altar call during service today. Frankly, I'm not very sure if she's originally a Christian, but it's an affair worth remembering, anyway. Hope she'll remain rooted in the church in the long run.
Well, and there goes another Christmas Eve.
