I still stand by my statement that I think Elizabeth will have more issues with John bonding than everyone else. Heck even Teyla seems to have accepted it will good grace.

I did another re read. (shrug) I couldn't help myself. You're addictive. :>
John is coming off very pushy. Sort of, bad date pushy. Also the feeling coming from him is selfishness, I do hope he can grow beyond what he wants, to realize what might be best for Rodney.

He did have a bit of a 1980's romance-novel-forced-seduction thing going. I totally wanted Rodney to knee-ball him, I would have. Respect, Flyboy, that's a person you're getting too grab-y with! Maybe Sheppard's having a harder time dealing with his sentinel senses turning up to eleven than he's admitting? Hormones, they make you crazy. Possibly going feral? Bond denial hard-core? But Rodney was nice and clear about verbally expressing disinterest. Maybe John will change up his tactics, or possibly spook the Guide and have to build up trust. With that chip in his head I can see Rodney holding all the cards. He really doesn't need John as much as John is clearly coming to need him

Two updates in one day! You are the awesomest author ever! It was like Chirstmas! This is so amazing. I love this fic so much. I've never read anything like it. I can just hear John and Rodney speaking. I like the way you've kept their speech patterns--that's not the easiest thing to do, and you do it very well. I'm so impressed with you.
