It's not depressing!
My job can be generally awful, and here lately I have been considering searching for another job. I got to thinking about it, though, and when it comes down to it I have a pretty good position for the amount of time I have been working there, and anywhere else would suck just as equally for probably less starting pay.
Also, I'm a pretty damned good manager.
I think I'm going to try to do this for a while. I'd like to own my own business someday, but I'm not going to bail out very soon. People look up to me. I have authority, and not just because it says I do on paper. They actually care about what I think. They respect my position. Some of them fear me. It's great.
My wife said that since I had a good day I should actually do a positive elljay entry for once, one that's not all FUCKSHITSENGLHGLAHHLA.
