NOW THE FREEDOM THING. ...Nagi's a little strange. Because I mean, most people would define freedom in sort of broad terms - the ability to do what you want! and considering he's a death row inmate, even just being free from prison would be a... well freedom.
But Freedom, for him, is something much more concrete: a specific thing that represents the reward for all the struggles and suffering and sacrifices. And it's going to be something different to everyone: whatever it is that's important to them, whatever thing means the most. FOR HIM it's all about the last remnants of his relationship with this woman he adored (and still adores, to a fault really) and it's about... well obviously his own son, I mean I guess I don't have to explain why that's important, haha.
ANYWAY it's just something important to an individual. It could be anything, even something silly like the ability to go see movies every week.
The funny thing is, though, his "freedom" as he defines it... he's very self-effacing because he says it's something silly and small, but being reunited with your own kid is pretty big, really.
