thanks to all who responded on the cousin Christmas music recommendation post! lots of great recommendations that I myself need to investigate.
here's the final loot they came away with... partially based on suggestions, but mostly harder albums I can personally vouch for...
We watched Yeah Right together and they enjoyed it as expected. Jury is still out on the cds... I'm especially curious to hear what they think of the techno comp which surprisingly wasn't balked at... I think they're more open-minded than I gave them credit for. I haven't seen the other skate video myself, but I hear it's got great music and is shot very artfully.
