Lavender is one of my favorite characters and I adore fics that explore her path after Greyback's attack. This is no exception! I love the old friendship between her and Theo and the growing attachment and physicality. I love how she's both fierce and wolf and all the hungers that go with it, and herSELF at the same time.

I haven't even gotten to listen to the songs yet, but I looked at all the lyrics, and I lovelovelove that you used Linkin Park because that's a song I've always associated with Lavender. Kudos!

I'm really glad this hit the spot for you given Lavender's one of your favorite characters. I've not written her much, so it's nice to hear that someone who reads her often thought this was very much her.

I love how she's both fierce and wolf and all the hungers that go with it, and herSELF at the same time.

You've no idea how happy this makes me :) Lavender seems to me a person who has a strong sense of self and I like to think that wouldn't change much just because she gets wolfy now and again. I'm glad that came through.

I hope you've had a chance to listen to the music! (And "Crawling" was actually the first song added to the list, haha ;)

Thanks so much for reading and for leaving such a lovely comment! Hope you enjoyed the fest!

The section contrasting Lavender with Padma and Ron in terms of fighting the wolf's instincts seemed plausible, nicely done!

I like to think Lavender has a strong sense of self, and also self-acceptance. I wanted to show how her transition to wolf is probably different than most people's since most people, especially at that age, are insecure. Parvati (in my head) would be a lot like Lavender, so Padma and Ron were the people in her life that presented the best foil to show that.

I'm glad you found it plausible :)

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you enjoyed the fest!

I will need to actually stop squeeing long enough to read this coherently instead of getting tied up in the analogy, but oh em gee, you used Sasha Pivovarova. ♥♥♥ times ∞

Haha! I've always loved Sasha Pivovarova and have wanted to use her as a visual representation for something. My original incarnation years ago of Lavender was Willa Holland, but she doesn't really fit this fic (or blonde movie Lavender). Sasha was the right mix of ethereal and beautiful in a non-conventional way.

I hope you enjoyed the fic! And the fest :)

I adore Theodore Nott; he's a particular favourite of mine from this series. Lavender I could give or take.

Saying that, this story made me love him all over again, and adore her. I never anticipated this ship working. I've never read a werewolf!Theo story, either. I am very pleased to say I was wrong about the first, and inspired by the second.

Beautiful pacing, wonderful song selections, characterizations that were lovely (I especially adored that you set them up as childhood friends/sweethearts in the making), and the overall plot was unique. A WONDERFUL job, dahling. I'll be reccing this story, and can't wait to find out who you are! :)

I've never written Theo before! My initial inclination for this was Marcus Flint, but the more I sat on the idea and tossed it around in my mind, the more the voice that emerged for the male lead did NOT sound like Marcus Flint.

It's always a little disconcerting when a character you've never worked with before just slips in and takes over.

So I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I'm really glad that this representation of him hit the Theo Nott spot for you, a fan of his. (Even as a werewolf, which I didn't know would be the case until I started writing. The writing process is funny like that.) Also very flattered that this made you give Lavender a chance, and the pairing a chance.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments! I hope the fest was fun for you!

HAHA! I do that all the time, so (a) I totally understand, and (b) I'm really flattered that you made the effort to leave a comment on that tiny screen! I rarely do it myself ;D
