ok, i gotta admit, today was fun
got up, ran for the first time in months (what can i say, i was inspired by watching the entire new york marathon run by my block yesterday). saw they were filming a tv show near my apartment. found out it was gossip girls, my favorite guilty pleasure. was unsuccessful in becoming an extra, but did get to talk to a photographer who has told me he wants me to be his "muse" (yes, I'm aware that it sounds incredibly sketchy and he's probably up to no good, i will not be sucked in, i promise i've got more street smarts than that, but it's still fun to be flattered, i guess). went back home, and the main cast and crew were eating in the church next to my house. after staring forlornly at the food going in, the cook took pity on me (or wanted to get into my pants, considering he hit on me later), and sent me in to eat, telling me to tell everyone that "henry said i could be here"... I ended up eating lunch (they had mussels!) about 10 feet away from some extraordinarily gorgeous actors and actresses. wish i'd had the courage to talk to them, because i heard from the photographer that most of them are actually really nice people (and apparently julia roberts is a crazy person, bruce willis is an asshole, and deniro is extraordinarily shy, amongst other gossip), but the crew was understandably uncomfortable about me being there in the first place, so they probably would have kicked me out... guess i'll never know. After reassuring people that i was not, in fact, a stalker, just interested in seeing everything that was going on next door to me, i went and volunteered at the Obama campaign for a while... i am feeling pretty optimistic. I think we might have a very good chance tomorrow. we shall see.
now i'm looking at plane fare to go see him. he called me two days ago, it changed everything. everything. ...god, i can't stop thinking about it.
going to Japan on december 3rd, it's official. may have more of an impetus to come back after 3 months now though. guess we'll see.
