Infuriates the living fuck out of me. Sure, If you defraud motherfucking workers of their fucking wages, they're going to sue you. That's their only motherfucking remedy under our current system. What the hell else do you expect them to do?
In context it sounded as if they were worried about the extra work load that they didn't have the capacity to handle, but I don't really give a shit about that, either.
the "nothing to hide" argument is one of the worst possible ones for transparency but even that turd has some value if you compost it enough
as privacy vanishes, the warts, blemishes, and saggy fat bits of our lives we try to hid with shadows, make-up and duck-face are going to become more and more apparent, inescapable. And when that happens society has to adjust, adapt to accept them. Slowly, painfully and haltingly but it will come about.
