Tom's hand almost wasn't heavy when he put it against her thigh. Ginny still shuddered and tried to move but it was hard to do so, her body refusing to do as she wanted.
She kept on shivering even when Tom didn't do but to keep his hand there, thumb rubbing at the skin. She was so cold, her teeth kept chattering and she couldn't seem to draw a proper breath.
"You don't have to worry, sweetheart," Tom crooned. He moved his hand under the hem of her skirt and it was as if the wind was touching her, almost immaterial nails touching the white of her thighs. Ginny shuddered again and tried to make her hands move. Tom wasn't strong enough yet and if she could hold him, if she could just push him away and run...
"It won't hurt," Tom muttered, leaning against her. His fake body offered no warmth and Ginny closed her eyes as his hand cupped her mound through her knickers, slim fingers pressing against her in a way she only had done a couple of times.
The fact that she had thought about doing this with her wonderful, amazing Tom made her want to cry again. She felt her lip quivering before she bit it hard, trying to calm herself.
"Your death won't be painful, darling," Tom whispered against her ear. Ginny felt him nip at her throat harshly, felt his fingers still flexing against her, rubbing in a way that was making her shake and her resolution not to cry all the harder. "You've been such a sweet girl, the most lovely friend anyone could ever ask. You'll just feel cold and you'll go to sleep."
Ginny tasted blood on her tongue when she bit harder on it but she didn't open her eyes as Tom's touch focused in a point that made her feel as if an electric shock had run through her. Her blood, however, tasted strange, as if it was... ink?
When she opened her eyes, Tom was smiling at her, as handsome and perfect as she had ever imagined him to be. Ginny felt like throwing up.
"But your brave hero, I'm afraid I wont' be so merciful with him, pet." Ginny shuddered again and tried to make her body move again. She even managed to roll to her side before her strength left her once more.
Tom's body felt more solid against hers then, his hand on the small of her back as he whispered against her ear.
"Now, darling, go to sleep."
