WTF?

Okay, seriously? People are getting ridiculous.

Believe me, to spend a half a million dollars on ANYTHING is ridiculous in my personal opinion-especially if it's not a necessity. BUT. It is tradition. No taxpayers pay for it, and neither does the White House. It's tradition. EVERY First Lady has done it. Including the democrat's precious *cough* PSYCHOTIC *cough* Hilary Clintion, who FYI, spent 250,000 on HER pick for china. Which, comparing the prices of everything from then to now, would really be very close to the same thing. So HOW in God's name is this inappropriate? It's PUTTING MONEY INTO THE ECONOMY. The china companies are going out of business, the economy needs more money-and by the way, the economic situation is entirely OUR fault. The economy is PEOPLE driven. WE control these things, not the president. He's just a convenient fall guy for a spoiled, greedy country who doesn't seem to realize that they have MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THIS WORLD. No matter how bad off we are here, there is always someone else worse off in another country. Is that not completely obvious?

So, instead of complaining and looking for someone to blame? How about we actually try and change the way things are ourselves and try to help each other out instead of acting like spoiled little brats who the government owes. Cuz I got news for ya'll. They don't owe us jack shit. They were created as a safety net, and they do a hell of a lot for us. Have you heard of disability or welfare or food stamps or free medical care? Don't get me wrong, we are SO flawed. But instead of whining and bitching, how about we DO something and practice being grateful. Your parents weren't money trees and neither is the government. NOTHING in life is free. Get that through your head and we might be a little better off.
