Yayness and Questions
Today was pretty interesting, different. I spent the day with mah barbie doll, Brit-Brit-she's getting so big! Gah, I can't believe she's due in August. She's gonna be a mommmmmmy! She's not even 20 yet, lol. It's crazy. She'll be turning 20 just before her baby girl is due. And her brother just turned 16 and got himself a Lexus SUV. Crazy kid's already gettin' in trouble. Though, I'm not surprised. When he was younger he was always getting in trouble for fighting. Now he does stupid boy stuff and his mom busted him having sex in his new car, which is disturbing yet hilarious to me. lol. I saw him today for the first time in like...wow, 2 years I think? Maybe more. He's so big! It's crazy! He's still adorable, just freaking tall as hell now. Looks pretty much the same. He was so cute when Britni made him stand up to show me how tall he was, he got all embarrassed and stuff. He really is too cute. So are her new step siblings. Especially Alex.
Annnyway, so I got my invite to her baby shower today, yayness! And I spent the day with her and Roxy and her baby girl-who is getting so big! I spent hours at the mall with them, mostly in the family room lol. We just talked for hours and hours until Roxy had to go. Then I went with Britni to register for her baby shower and to her house a few different times, lol, before she took me back to the mall to get my car. She wanted me to follow her back to her place and stay for dinner, but she lives so far out and I had to go home and check on my gma. It was great though. I didn't realize just how much I missed those two. I had some incredible times with them and it sucks that we all live so far apart! I'm gonna go out there sometime this week during the day when my aunt will be here to watch my gma. Go visit with my girlies again. It's always nice to sit around and swap stories, reminisce about stupid stuff we did-which was a lot. :D
Ha, and then Roxy was talking about if something happens to her she's sending Ruthy to come live with me or Britni, and Britni was like...if I haven't killed myself. Lol, so Roxy was like, uh, she's definitely going home with you. And our plans, for their 21sts since they're younger, is to send the youngin's to Lauren's house since there is absolutely NO WAY I'm missing out on the two of them drunk. Lol, that would just be...PRICELESS. Any other time though, babysitting I totally can and would love to do. :D
So, all in all, today was pretty great. It's been a long time since I've had a good day like this. I seriously need coffee though, been craving it allll damn day. I'ma have to make a run later tonight or tomorrow or something when I pick up kids EARLY. Exam week means a lot less sleep for me, lol. Since I have to stay up all night and normally I sleep until the afternoon, grab six or seven hours. This week it looks like it's gonna be more like 5 or so. But, oh well.
I think I'll go back to trying to write. I've got a pretty awesome beta, who sadly has no net on the weekends or at night, which is when I'm on of course, lol. Still, she helped get me unstuck in a lot of ways, but yet again I'm stuck. Anybody willing to give me a little advice for ficage? Oh, and I was thinking of getting a new LJ just for the fics, so like I can keep em separate and stuff, but I can't decide. Opinions? :D

Has anyone ever seen the movie Waking Life? I love that movie. I saw it my junior year of high school in my Honors Philosophy class. Great movie, so I ordered it the other day. Can't wait to get it. ^_^
Also, random, but I totally forgot that Chris Kane was in Secondhand Lions. Yay! :D
