Since faramir_boromir was sweet enough and compelled to tag me for this meme. I though the least I could do was to respond. Now, I already did this meme a couple days ago, but I became totally inspired after reading this meme by triciaqaf. It's all about SEX ( Read more... )

2. My nipples are pierced. The stimulation there like tripled.

I agree. Nice to know that we have another thing in common.

Very lovely, I'm sure.

Do you love your nipple rings?
I really LOVE mine. It really looks good. My breasts are average..36B/C cup, but It's like they are adorned.

I read an interesting article about body modification. It talked about ownership of self. That really resonated with me. That may be part of why I did it. I felt likea strong declatation of ... 'I'm mine'!
The tatoos also, it's like I don't want to get too confused with giving a shit about what they/the world/society...says I should do with my body.

Sorry for the ramble...

I have to ask, how badly did it hurt to have them pierced? I had a friend in Texas who was a body piercer and her sister was a tatoo artist, both several times tried to talk me into some sort of piercing or tatoo. I felt like the virgin sacrifice:-) I am odd, I find tattoos beautiful or to make a statement, but have never wanted one of my own.

I wanted both done. Something went wrong with the second one (I probably flinched) so I had to go back a couple of weeks later to get it done. The pain wasn't bad because I used numbing cream beforehand.

Don't apologise for rambling. This discussion is interesting.

I love my nipple piercings but I have barbells - I didn't want anything that would always show through a bra and clothes because I work in the public service, which is quite reserved about that sort of thing. I got them pierced soon after I had a cyst removed from my left breast. When I found out the cyst was benign I wanted to do something "for me". I had been thinking about getting them done for a while, and decided to just do it!

I've always been fascinated by tattoos and piercings, but never thought of them as body modification. I got my first tattoo as a homage to my sister after she died. My second tattoo is a homage to Gale and that's all I'm saying. lol.

I got my nipples pierced soon after having a cyst removed from my left boob.

My first one, on my lower back, is kanji for "little sister". My second one, on my right shoulder blade, is a Japanese form of "resist".

I told you about mine. Now you have to tell me about yours. *wink*

HI!!!
I got a little bogged down.
Sorry. Where were we?
Oh yes, nipples.
mmmmmm......

My tatoos-
I have my entire back done.
It has a center piece of a buddha sitting on a lotus flower
I have another lotus flower around my navel and
I have an arm band.

I have barbells through my nipples.
Originally I had rings, but my nipples were actually, (shy) too big.
Pressure built up at the edges. So I changed to barbells.
I really like it quite a lot.

I'm planning a new tatoo on my arms.
I'm researching Maori artwork for inspiration.

xo

Your tattoos sound interesting, and I'm intrigued about what your next one will be. The Maoris have some intricate designs (Robbie Williams got a Maori design when he was in NZ a few years ago).
