I hate your stem cell view, but, I like your books, and you are young yet. I think its good that you want to learn about things that affect the world etc... Good luck.

no

There are so many things I dislike about your application, but mostly it comes down to a matter of age and experience. You severely lack the latter, and so it seems you lack the background to make intellectual choices about things.

I'm sorry, that is coming across as horribly elitist and degrading, I'm not meaning it to. It just seems like you haven't yet reached the point in your life where you analyze and question everything by your own standards, rather than the standards set forth by your parents and your teachers.

Does that make sense?

Yes, it does. Which is why I was hesitant to even join this community, but I really wanted to fill out the application. Thank you for taking your time, and I really do understand what you're saying. No hard feelings. :)

You made me think; perhaps part of what this community does is take fledgling intellectuals and give them a poke in the right direction?

Does it? I was unaware of that, but I guess others seem to think that is its purpose also judging from the votes.

I saw how old you were and was immediately thinking that I'd give you a no answer. However, I began to read through your application and I liked it. You are very young, but you're also intelligent for your age, and I like that.

Yes. Your answers were more intelligent than many people older than you have written.

Well, you're open-minded, but very mis-informed. The thing is, it's not really your fault -- the majority in this country has been lulled into an ignorant stupor by mass-media and frivolous lifestyles.

Iraq wouldn't have invaded us in a million years. Well, at least not in a couple hundred -- no one is going to invade us; we'd destroy them. Saddam is a brutal dictator, but he's not stupid. The only country that poses a national threat right now is North Korea, whom we've all but ignored. Iran and Pakistan are the hot-beds of terrorism. North Korean and Saudi Arabia both have regimes more brutal to their people.

Project for the New American Century has been planning on invading Iraq since the mid-90s. 9/11 was just the perfect exuse ( ... )

Although he said he was anguished by the decision, in an interview in Talk magazine, writer Tucker Carlson described Bush mimicking the woman's final plea for her life. "'Please,' Bush whimpers, his lips pursed in mock desperation, 'don't kill me.'"
