Hi Guys,
It has been a long time since I updated LJ. Now that summer vacation is here, its time for me to update u guys on my life here in Bethlehem.
Time flies and I have been here for 2 years already! I'm half way through my PhD, and by now, I got used to >60 hrs week and living as a student. Its comfortable if I watch what I spend. The sights and experiences here is definitely invaluable. Having to live on my own and take care of myself, I learnt to be more patient and appreciative of my family and friends.
I gathered more than enough credits for a Masters degree, so I thought, why not get one more piece of paper and see how's commencement like in US. So I did just that, and I graduated with a Masters on Monday May 21st!
Commencement here is mostly held outdoors. And with the late Spring weather, it is so beautiful! Our football stadium is surrounding by hills of green. Check out the photos!

Me and 2 Malaysian boys who are graduating Bachelors.
Brian, the red-hair guy who took classes with me. He's from Orange County, CA, and is moving back to west coast.
Isn't the sky a fantastic blue with no clouds?! And its very cool and windy.
The procession walk into the stadium where the graduates wait for commencement.
The President walk in together with the Provost.
Commencement over and everyone is holding on to their degrees.
Me and my prof in front of the Singapore flag! The school looks into the nationalities of the graduating students, and places the flags around the stadium. And I share the flag with no one! Ha....
I just love the weather that day. Isn't it beautiful?
I didn't know that my friend from Malaysia, her father is the Minister for Human Resource for Malaysia! I realized it only when i saw the bodyguard..... Ha!!
Hope u guys are doing well in SG. I'm fine here in USA, and of cos, always thinking of my trip home in Dec. 2 more years to go! And I hope when i graduate then, my family and closest friends can join me in this occasion!
