Sorry for such the long anonymous post at the How's My Driving meme. :( I honestly am doing this at random but am so enjoying our little conversation! I really hope the moderator doesn't get mad at either of us, I've been doing this with no ill intention. :)

So you roleplayed her? Ahh, that's cute. I've never played anyone from Final Fantasy myself because it's been one of those games that I've played but never paid real close attention to? Since my brother played it so I played it, if that makes sense. Like how I played Final Fantasy VIII but don't know if I ever completed it.

Yeah, the system for X was unique, but it felt like one of those things you had to make sure what you wanted from. I don't know though, I admit to cheating like a cheating cheater and taking the biggest grid and filling them as far as I could be bothered. Probably reeeallly bad, but I knew from an early age that I had no attention span for grinding in RPGs. :(

Would you say XIII feels long or short?

Ah I totally understand that. I usually don't play characters from Final Fantasy. I think Aerith is the exception.

Ahaha! Dude, I totally gave up on filling the entire grid. I was like "BEAT THE GAME. LOOKS LIKE I'M DONE. :>"

XIII feels pretty long. I mean, I'm only on Chapter 3 and I know that there are at least 10 total. I'm enjoying it though. It isn't that difficult though, in terms of the battling.

ahh sorry if I take time to reply to this, I was tracking the How's My Driving meme for no reason so I don't get e-mails for this!

I heard people seem to have such a problem with Aeris roleplayers thanks to RoleplaySecrets. Didn't have any trouble, did you? I've seen one around but I don't really pay attention at all.

Wow, is it really? I didn't know there were that many! I just know people have been having lots of fun roleplaying from it thanks to Livejournal and random browsing. I did read though that the dungeons are meant to be immensely linear and long.

Don't worry about it at all! I'm actually making icons for my new character so I'll be a bit occupied as well.

I've only been mentioned on RPS once, as far as I know, but that was because I was a part of a cast. To be honest, I don't really pay attention to RPS because I don't think it really helps to solve problems - it only makes them worse. If anyone had a problem with the way I played Aerith, I would have preferred them to comment about it on my HMD post in her journal. No one ever brought up any issues about her so I think I was okay.

Yeah, they pretty much are. And the cutscenes are really long too. Sometimes I feel as though I'm watching a movie.

Good luck with your new character. Do you mind me asking who it is? I don't mind if you do or don't say, just simple curiousity.

I don't pay attention at all anymore to RPS, I don't play any casts and I found myself not even being able to come up with a good answer to why I went. I've heard from a friend lately though that it's been slow. It doesn't really help problems, though. It's just a place for people to feel comfortable to air their problems, though that's sorta been shoved over to rpanoncomm if people aren't paranoid about IP logging. It's cool though thta you really didn't get any.

Ugggh, long cutscenes is really what's stopping me from playing some of the newer games. I don't think myself a snob or anything (but who does?), but it's difficult for me to care about most of them.

I'm planning to app Indo from Pakis-tan. She represents the country of India. The series is similar to that of Axis Powers Hetalia. :>

I'm pretty thankful. I RP because I think it's fun and like, drama takes the fun out of it? If it stops being fun, I probably won't roleplay anymore.

Yeah I get that. For me, I don't mind the cutscenes, at least not in XIII because it's just so darn beautiful. ;A;

oooo I've heard of that! It's been getting really popular lately. I haven't ever read Hetalia, but I'm guessing from what you said that it details about the history of India?

It really does, drama isn't any good. :( In one way I can see the problems that people have that come up in RP, but it doesn't come up in a good way. It's like it pents up and then comes out in a very passive agressive highschool way that doesn't work for anyone. Not that I like the whole 'lol lj rp is HIGHSCHOOL ALL OVER AGAIN' comparison or anything but I can't think of anything better.

I've seen icons of the game and it really does look very beautiful. ahh if only I had the patience to play iiit. :(

Comparing RP drama to high school truly is the best way toe explain it. I've seen other people go through it and that's all it reminds me of.

I feel bad for making the comparison, but I took a break from Livejournal roleplay and then came back and I had never seen people be so picky before. I can really understand some of the exaggerations sometimes, but it's just that. :( I end up feeling bad for the people that the pent up feelings get directed to.

ahahslflg. Oh gosh, umm. I don't actually sign into Livejournal anymore, but umm, sure. Actually, do you mind if we friend on earpulled? It's what I use to track communities with so I'm sure to see anything. :)
