Nothing, It’s Something; Minho/Key

There's nothing something interesting about Minho cross-dressing.

Author's Note: Inspired by this. i was looking through my WIPs and found this. idek. i continued from where i last stopped and things just happened. this is so terribly late but i like that it can finally be shared. and umm, it's complete rubbish. still, i hope you have fun reading it? heheh. happy new year dear readers! ♥

It’s not every day Minho refuses to look at himself in the mirror. So unwilling is he to see his reflection that he stubbornly keeps his eyes closed the entire time the coordi-noona does his hair and makeup at the dresser. That’s not even an easy task because his hair and makeup for the day is taking what feels like ten times the normal time he usually needs to get ready.

When he’s finally allowed to move, Minho steers clear of all mirrors and sits on a chair not too far from where Kibum is using his phone to pass time while waiting to be called for his stage with Tiffany. Their eyes meet and Minho watches as Kibum’s eyes drift down, boldly checking him out from head to toe, before looking back up until their gazes lock once more.

“Don’t.” Minho warns even before Kibum can make a single comment.

Kibum shrugs and turns his attention back onto his phone, quickly hiding his expression. It’s too late though. Minho doesn’t miss how the corners of Kibum’s lips curl up. In fact, a few seconds later, Minho even sees Kibum’s shoulders start shaking and his whole body vibrating after.

“Kibum.”

It takes a moment before Kibum looks up again, but this time with a clueless expression cleverly placed on his face as he clears his throat and acts confused.

“What?”

“Stop it.”

“I’m not doing anything.”

Minho groans, “You’re laughing!”

A smile tugs on the corners of Kibum’s lips but before it can form, Kibum has each of his index fingers on the sides of his lips to force them down, physically stopping himself from smiling.

Minho sighs out loud, “Do I really look that funny?”

Kibum manages to put on a straight face as he answers, “No.”

“Liar.”

It’s then Minho finally decides to look in the mirror and find out exactly how terrifying he must look.

Kibum stands up as well and walks towards Minho who is now judging himself really hard.

As he comes to stand behind Minho in front of the full length mirror, Kibum reaches out to play with Minho’s long purplish-red hair, letting it slide through his fingers before he comments in a mumble, “You’re pretty…”

Minho meets Kibum’s eyes in the mirror, his own eyes suddenly full of hope.

He is about to speak when Kibum suddenly lets his fake hair fall from his fingers.

“Ugly.” Kibum finishes, trying his best to hold back a laugh.

Minho sulks, “Do you always have to be this honest?”

Kibum grins as he slides his hand down Minho’s bare thigh through the high slit of his lacy red dress with feathers or what he likes to call a fashion disaster (on Minho, that is, no offense to Girl’s Day).

“Isn’t this a little…” Moving a step closer so he can rest his chin on Minho’s shoulder, Kibum pauses mid-sentence and slowly runs his fingers back up Minho’s thigh before he lets his hand settle on the curve of Minho’s ass, “-sexy?”

“Stop molesting me.” Minho deadpans.

Kibum smiles, “You’re a willing party though.”

“Take your hand off my ass or else-”

“What? You’re going to scream bloody murder?”

“I may.”

“And get even more attention than we’re already getting?”

It’s then Minho suddenly remembers where they are and he immediately takes two steps forward to create an appropriate distance between Kibum and himself. He then looks around and realises everyone who is in the waiting room with them is too busy to actually care about what they’re up to.

“No one’s looking.” Minho can’t help but point out.

“You sound disappointed.” Kibum teases, “Do you want to continue? I must say though, there are only so many places I can touch you in public…”

Minho narrows his eyes at Kibum who is obviously having a little too much fun playing with him, “You said I was ugly.”

“I still love your body though.”

“Kibum.”

“Yes?”

“Enough.”

“Oh fine.” Kibum doesn’t like how Minho always likes to spoil his fun, “You’re only being like this because I can’t lie and say you look beautiful. It’s not my fault you really don’t look pretty as a girl.”

“Hey, I’m not-”

“I like you just the way you are anyway.” Kibum finishes saying his piece with a shrug.

Minho knows Kibum only meant it as a casual remark but when Kibum is usually tight-lipped about his feelings for him, it’s no wonder why a simple sentence like that makes Minho all warm inside.

“Don’t smile like that,” Kibum says with a disgusted look on his face, “You look so creepy right now.”

With that, Kibum decides he can’t take another look at Minho and walks away in search for his phone.

Minho isn’t offended though. Even with all that Kibum has said, Minho knows Kibum will still keep a close eye on his performance. And for this very reason, Minho decides he will go all out for his Girl’s Day stage… just to make sure he will get a reaction out of Kibum. Maybe this whole cross-dressing madness isn’t such a bad idea after all.
