(no subject)
Baseball started this weekend....KICKASS....most of my team sucks. There are only 5 of us back from last year: Me, Joe Ledoux, Justin Greenwood, Kyle Finver(good bunter),and Josh Barnaby. Joe, Justin, and I are gonna be the 3 power hitters this year, we're either gonna be the 3-4-5 hitters which would be me, joe, justin, or the 4-5-6 hitters which would be joe, me, justin, but i think we'll be the 3-4-5 hitters because coach will have Kyle be the leadoff, cuz he can always bunt to get on, then Josh will be the #2 man, cuz he can hit better than a lot of the guys this year, but it's only like singles. Then it'll be me cuz i can hit kyle in, and josh if he gets on. Then Joe will be the cleanup hitter cuz he can get me in, and then justin will be next cuz he has a shot of getting joe at least to 3rd. If Joe Justin and I can carry the team we may win, and if Joe and I can become good pitchers we'll both be able to pitch fast enough that we'll be able to strike people out, and Justin is already a pretty good pitcher. We've also got this new kid Steve who i guess is a good pitcher. If Joe and I can get these guys motivated we might be good, and we might have a shot this year.
I'm actually hitting pretty well so far this year, but for some reason my fielding sucks. I had a nice catch playin outfield today though....i friggen slid in shorts and ripped up my leg...it's all raw and it bled a little, and it was full of dirt....it was SOOOO much fun....that's why i love this game. I hope we do good this year...i wanna end my last year with a good season. It'll be fun no matter what, but we got first on the season last year, and lost in the final game of the championships, so i wanted to go all the way this year. I've got practices from 6-8 on Wednesdays and 2-4 on saturdays until the season starts, and for the entire season we have practices from 12-2 on Sundays. It's gonna be sooo fun.
