Dear Secret Santa,
First of all, hello! Thank you so much for deciding to participate in YAGKYAS this year. It's my first year joining in, so I wasn't sure how specific to be in prompts/etc, but I want to assure you (every time I say this in my real life now, I think of Nate Fick) that I know whatever you come up with will be wonderful.
If you are looking for a little guidance, though (and I know I am), my favorite pairings are Brad/Ray and Stafford/Christeson. There's something about a pairing that isn't particularly romantic or overly saccharine that appeals to me, which makes sense, because my favorite things to read and write are sarcasm and bickering. (PJ's characterization of Ray Person has made him probably my favorite television character of all time) I like possessiveness and jealousy, if not obsession (if that makes sense), and any situation where one character is unexpectedly jealous over the other is like catnip to me.
I prefer AUs, because I dig placing characters I already know and appreciate into situations not their own and seeing how they react, so an AU would be ideal, but I also wouldn't say no to some Humvee action (...if by action, you mean bickering). Porn is fine (provided there's no use of the term 'quivering member' or similar), but I've seen a lot of D/s in Brad/Ray stories, and while that's definitely an avenue I could see their characters going down, I'd prefer not to read about it, if it's all the same.
