This is not a Foster the People primer, because that much information doesn't even exist about them on the internet, but it is a collection of interviews, pictures and music, because I think they're adorable (if slightly pretentious) and I would probably read fic about them with each other or other semi-famous people any day of the week.
(I have been thinking about doing something like this all week and settled on today because a) I worked on my pilot in a word .doc last night instead of in google docs like a normal person and my mother can't email me the file from my computer because she's overwhelmed by the toddlers in our house. b) I hate the intro to the second episode and can't bear to look at that one either and c) I was planning on doing it anyway, why not now when my boss is out of the office and less likely to come in and rightly accuse me of avoiding the mounting pile of tasks on my desk?)
From left to right! Mark Pontius (drummer extraordinaire), Mark Foster (vocals, keyboards, synth, etc) & Cubbie Fink (!!!) (bass)
It should be noted that Mark Foster seriously has one of the greatest smiles I've ever seen in my life. He kind of looks ferrety, otherwise, but the smile saves it.

people and places
(this one is super old, and that curly haired dude is no longer in the band. however! there are two guys that tour with them now (sean and somebody else whose name is nowhere, omg), but they're not listed on the official FtP website or the wikipedia, so IDK if they count as members or not.)
(Clearly this is my favorite picture.)
(Mark, looking kind of ferrety and also sort of like a white, hipster Jesus. But see? Look up there! That smile totally saves it.)

(Holy cats! That took me two hours and some change. Woah. I am pretty exhausted ...from doing nothing that actually has to do with my job. /o?)
