Today marks the birth anniversary of one of my very favorite people on the planet. Since there's really no way to adequately describe how awesome she is and I fail at coherent flowery speech anyway, I wrote this. I hope you like it, Ceej! I adore your face.

I also really like the juxtaposition here: Ryan's headspace versus Shia's. I like the way Ryan is constantly justifying the things he does, to try to downplay how much it's about Brendon, even still, because he failed to acknowledge how much it was about Brendon when it still mattered the most for them. I like the differences in energy between Brendon and Ryan's friendship versus Lorenzo and Shia's! I like the way Brendon's energy changes when he's around Shia versus when he's around Ryan -- one more excited than the other, understandably, because he and Ryan have so much baggage.
And yet Brendon still falls into bed with Ryan for a while! And he offers to do things like pick Ryan up if he needs! There's an awesome transitional feel to this, but it's also still pretty hopeful too, and I'm super excited for Brendon and Shia's new relationship and how much fun they're having together at the same time that I'm also glad that Brendon doesn't completely cut Ryan out of his life, that despite Ryan's own attempts to separate them in his head, Brendon doesn't really try to deny that Ryan's a part of his life.
This is super great! THANKS SO MUCH, DUDE. And, wow, thanks to all those people who helped out, just in case they see this, because I really dig and appreciate this. :D
