I'm sitting here doing nothing so I thought I'd update since I haven't in FOREVER. Today has been pretty awesome. I woke up and worked out. Then Mike and I roller bladed (he biked) to Long Grove (about 4.5 miles there and then back). To our surprise... there was a festival going on!!!! Long Grove has three festivals each year; Strawberry Fest, Apple Fest and Chocolate Fest. Today was Strawberry fest (it's all weekend actually). So we hung out there for about two hours and it was fun... I love Long Grove. There was a kid area where they had kid "rides" and there was one of those moon walk things... I wanted to go in. So then we rode back home... it's basically just taking Cuba the whole way and it's SO HILLY... like in Alton (I spent New Year's at Jamie's a few years ago and it was SO hilly there ..). It was a good work out. When we got back to my house we were going to go to the bank and cash in some change that I've been putting in a little jar for a few months. Tonight we have been planning on going to Lou Malnati's for our one year anniversary. The actualy anniversary is June 05, but I was on Andros Island then so we had to move it. So we're celebrating tonight... I made him something cool (well, I think it's cool, hopefuly he agrees)... I'm lame, I know. So anyway, we're going to Lou's and we decided not to hold back and to make sure we save room for dessert and everything which we never do. I told him that I was going to get my change cashed in and that all that money would go towards dinner. We both guessed how much we thought it was going to be... he guessed 17, I guessed 14. We were both just hoping that it was more than 10. We figured dinner would be about 35 dollars... 42 with tip. And holy shit... the banker came back in and told us how much... $42.25. I freaked out. So that's dinner... completely free. And it's money that's just been sitting there that I thought was a few bucks. Awesome. Anyway, I think we're going to go across the street from Lou's to the Buffalo Grove theater (which is 2nd run and only 1$ per ticket... AND right next to the puppy palace where we might get to go to kill time!!). The movie starts at 915 so we'll be leaving soon which is why I'm trying to end this.
