So my suitemates have this THING about locking the door to my room when they pee, even though the door to the toilet has it's own, perfectly capable lock (our two room are connected by the bathroom/shower). And this wouldn't be such a big deal, if they didn't ALWAYS forget to unlock the door, at LEAST once a day. Somebody will occasionally be in there for me to say, hey, unlock the door, but sometimes they're out 'n about and i'm stuck, needing to pee.
Last night, I got fed up with it and had a very calm, and I thought, convincing talk with them. I asked them to stop locking our door and that an alternative would be to lock the toilet door. (WE'RE NOT GOING TO BARGE IN ON THEM WHILE THEY'RE PEEING. GODDAMN. ) I even offered a compromise, and said that if they felt uncomfortable, I could completely understand if they wanted to lock our door when they took showers--the shower doesn't have its own door.
Did any of that sound bad? Did I make my point? I thought I did, because they both nodded and said, "Okay." We were in agreement.
SO WHY DID THEY FUCKING LOCK THE DOOR TO PEE THIS MORNING.
If I'm locked out of that damn bathroom one more time, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'll go to the housing office and get a key to their room (which you can do) and unlock it myself.
Helloooo, invasion of privacy. How would you like that, bitches? Betcha wouldn't lock me out if I peed all over your expensive bedding. >_>
