'life isnt fair'
that sayin confuses me. wat makes life so unfair? i dont think its nature out to get us (tho if we keep killin the planet we may face mother earth's wrath soon). and if there is a higher being or beings that exist y destroy their creations? so its got to be people who make life unfair. uve got folks screwin each other over constantly, and to wat end, for wat purpose?
pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, sloth.......7 deadly sins of man as put down by the catholic church, all things out of pandoras box. each of these included in our very blueprints as human beings, tho most of us only commit these sins in the smallest of ways. surely never to affect neone else. ah but then chaos theory presents itself. a butterfly flaps its wings, half way around the world a hurricane begins. does this mean that because of our very nature we now present each other the possibilty of never being able to make life 'fair'? do we posses a tru sense of justice?
a woman kills her husband, murder rite? the womans defense is that he sat in front of the TV for 20 yrs. and was a horrible slob, she got tired of pickin up his dirty underwear so she popped a cap in the bac of his head one day. the husband, if his testimony could be given, would say she was a bossy old hag, always bothered him after a long day of work, and she lost her looks after their first 3 yrs of marriage. the court says murder. woman is now to go to jail, possibly killed by the state cuz shes such a cold blooded murder. put yourself in each persons case. if u were the woman, married to a man who drove u insane, unable to divorce him for various reasons, and u knew the bastard would live for another 20 yrs, another 20 yrs of workin pickin up after people, comin home and cleanin up after him, never noticed as more then a maid, cravin human contact and never quite receivin it. then become the husband. work in a factory, constantly gotta fight to keep your job against the young ones comin in w/ the college degrees, the machines that didnt complain, that were more efficient, and against the plant movin south, workin w/ migrant workers or down in fuckin mexico where they pay the poor bastards 5 cents a day. then come home to a woman who used to be amazin, sweet, beautiful, but now an ugly old hag who nags and nags, constantly askin for attention as u slowly lose your sanity tryin to survive. and then the court. woman takes gun, shoots defenseless husband in bac of head, confesses, prints on gun. woman to jail for rest of her life, possibly a seat on death row. so whos better off? the woman, finally killed that SOB she was married to for 20 yrs, and hey now she doesnt have to clean up after neone she gets a free ride in the justice system, til she dies abused and miserable in prison from aids, or a knife fight. or the husband, doesnt have to work nemore, or deal w/ the wench he was married, but hes bought himself a one way ticket to hell. or the court, just one more case, look at the evidence move on. but wat bout u? where r u affected in all this? no possible affect rite? well its your money payin to either keep that woman alive and miserable, or kill her, murder her, tit for tat. or maybe they were relatives of yours? friends?
but then lets say the woman never kills her husband, instead goes on, wishin she could kill him, wat impact does that have on society? well she cant screw over that asshole she lives w/, so hey lets fuck this person out of a job, or lets abuse our child, make them as bitter and hateful as u r.
