Yaaaay for being home! (Booo for dialup, but eh well. no biggie.)
Getting out of Burlington/Shelburne yesterday was a BITCH. The traffic was ridiculous! Seemed to clear up once I hit rt 22 though. The thruway wasn't too bad, aside from your typical, garden variety shitty NY/NJ drivers-- and a lot of frogs on the road, too.. as in the French speaking kind. They can't drive either. And I thought New Jersey drivers were speeders! Geez! I don't think the frogs grasp the concept of a speed limit.
So I'm running errands with the father figure this morning, whenever he gets back from wherever the heck he went. Hoping to catch Laur and Dawn while I'm home, and also see my cousin Karen. I also intend to visit the Awareness Shop while I'm home, since it has been one of my favorite places around here for years.
April mentioned that she is going to try and see if she and Wombat, and maybe (hopefully!) Rose and Mark can come out to VT in July. That would rock!
I hope it works out. I miss them!
I do believe I heard the father figure closing his car door. Must go get dressed so we can go out and do the errand type stuff.
