I am listening to the new Belle and Sebastian album right now. I thought I would hate it, but it turns out I (gasp!!) don't. I don't really like the direction the band has been going in lately, but The Life Persuit is definitely better than Dear Catastrophe Waitress. It is entirely too silly and over-the-top and sunshiney-happy!, but I now think it is good to have that in your life (in moderation). Thus, I give it 2 thumbs up.
