Scooping out pumpkin guts is therapeutic and pounding pie crust will make your hands smell of fresh butter and flour. Sniffing them for the next few hours makes you look very silly.
Octopus socks only add to the silliness.
Note to self: your alcohol tolerance is lowered due either to new medication or too much healthy living. Slurred speech is an alarming thing to suddenly notice in yourself when you think you are still well within your limits. Be prudent.
