Prologue: This is a 31 day event that helps poets and authors all over to pen down 31 new poems in the month of December (2023). Every day we can open the calendar for that day to read about the prompt for that day. Then let your imagination fly to infinity with your thoughts and voice.
For Day 27 the Prompt given to us was to write a poem about what an inanimate thing would say to you that you want to hear. Also consider writing in tercets was one of the advice given. My very first attempt.
Prompt 27: Vanishing Perils Lead to Life Gentle
My colorful straps add a lot of charm on your feet
Lets me remove thorns from your beat.
Did I eliminate the disorders from your street?
Leave your past behind like footprints on sand
Remember the lessons learned so grand
And wash them away before they reprimand.
Look forward for sights of the morrow
But never ever try to borrow
From the light flowing through the window.
Grasp tightly the riders of a barre beam
Walk swiftly across shining in fine gleam
Balance in the present letting fears fleme.
