Prologue: This series brings forth fashion and style from my wardrobe. These could be a little different way of styling the clothing or wearing something with unique design or repurposed fabric or sometimes simply reusing something for a different purpose.
For this year's
Bathukamma I wore this Kalamkari Digital Print with prints of dancing ladies dressed in traditional attire. Kalamkari is the fabric of the Telugu speaking state of Andhra Pradesh in India.
I paired it with gold beaded necklace boasting a Thanjavur pendant with hand painted figures (from the Thanjavur city in the state of Tamil Nadu in India), with matching earrings and color coordinated bangles on my wrists. I am posing with Dandiya Sticks that we use to dance around Bathukamma too.
