Built in 1914, this vintage Carousel in Bushnell Park, Hartford, Connecticut is a treasure and a surprise find. It houses 48 hand-carved wooden horses and two lovers’ chariots that swirl around a booming Wurlitzer band organ. This is only one of three Stein & Goldstein carousels left operating in this country.

A magical experience atop one of the horses, the ride reminded me of Christine Feehan's Dark Carousel, the 30th book in The Carpathian Novels series published in March of 2016.

Beautiful works of art you see at every turn inside the carousel - horses, stained glasses, and even a wall art of horses.

The center pole of the carousel reflects various seasons with some beautiful and intricate artwork.

Here are some of pics showing me ad my brother's family enjoying this ride.

Take a spin around this vintage and historical treat for just $2 and spend 3 1/2 minutes bringing your inner child out and forget all the worries of the world.
