Prologue: A friend's constant posts about some of the late 80s and early 90s tapori Bollywood songs prompted me to create this series Originally planned to post songs from Hindi (Indian Language) films only. Then I decided to find such songs in Telugu (= Indian Language), my mother tongue; and English. If you come across any songs in any language that would fall in this category, feel free to comment and I will post about them too.
Tapori = typically means a street thug with unique style of language; similar to ghettos. However it is crudely also used to mean something meaningless yet totally fun.
Bemaina = Urdu word for meaningless
Gaane = Songs
Next on this list is again one that was filmed on Sunil Shetty, but this time with a different actress - Raveena Tandon. It is from the same film - the 1996 Indian Hindi-language action thriller Rakhshak - from which I posted
the song Sundara Sundara a couple days ago.
A sleeper hit for the music of this film, for the song in question the playback vocals were provided by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Chandana Dixit to the Lyrics penned by Deepak Chowdhary and Music penned by Anand - Milind. Notice the number of outfits the female lead changes in the song.

Bonus tidbit:
This song was recreated for the 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film Khandaani Shafakhana (= Familial Clinic) which was filmed on Diana Penty. Music and Lyrics were also recreated from the original by Tanishk Bagchi while playback vocals were provided by Badshah and Tulsi Kumar. In fact the original star cast Sunil Shetty and Raveena Tandon make an appearance in this song creating nostalgic moments. Here is the video for the same
