What better song to sing than this famous carol for Christmas every time. Jingle Bells was originally written for Thanksgiving by American song writer James Lord Pierpont in 1857. It was titled as One Horse Open Sleigh. James composed the Music for the song too. Later on this song became more related to Christmas and is played all the time during the Holiday Season, although the lyrics have been altered slightly from the original song as the years passed by. A numerous array of musicians and singers have sung this song in several versions and languages since the time it has been written. (List of all versions here)
