A timeless classic club/party song from the 1951 hit Hindi movie Baazi, Sung by Geeta Dutt, Music composed by S. D. Burman and Lyrics penned by Sahir Ludhianvi. Song was portrayed on Geeta Baali and Dev Anand.
Talking about this movie is post for another day, but lets just stick to the song for now. Some may think this as a simple song, but it is as complex as any human emotions that cannot be quantified. Originally written as a Ghazal by Sahir but turned to a club song by S.D. Burman, it comes with as much philosophy that can come. The girl is challenging the guy to change his planned fate by gambling for once trusting himself. By the end of the song, the guy indeed takes up the challenge.
