here.
Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also what they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.
Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut, created this tiny fairy village on their grounds and named it Yesterville. We get to walk around half a mile and stop at 30 stops in the village and observe the workings of fairies daily life. They also listed things for us humans to find in the fairy world. Something to keep your mind occupied.
Some of my favorite ones - The Church of the Morning Wing with painted picket fence (they had a small rope that we could tug and ring the bell on the top of the church); Windy's Wig Shop (check out the tiny wigs in the store, and lots of toadstools as steps, decorated with beautiful dragon flies and the workshop in the back); Carousel with McDolnald's Happy Meal boxes converted to small buildings; Aerodome; Riverside Sawmill (this was best of all) ; Wee Faerie Dress Shop (notice the sop is shaped like a dress); Miss Millicent's Marvelous Mini Millinery (Hat shop); Yesterville Library in the Old Cemetery; Griswold & Co. Hardware; Village's Autumn Harvest Faire; BeetleGrass General Store.
