Destination: Adventure 4c - Northern Lights in CT

It has been my lifelong aspiration to see Northern and Southern Lights. Havent come around to make those trips yet. However, earlier this month, the KP Index was so high due to Solar Storms in the Sun that we got to glimpse a little of the fascinating Northern Lights right from our backyard right here in Connecticut, far south from where the lights really can be seen. I still can't believe that this miracle we could witness, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that shook me in every way.
I still would make the trip to see the lights from Alaska or Norway or Iceland to get more lights and more colors. :P
