For posts on various restaurants that I visited, go
here.
Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
Another fun restaurant I got to go to last month was The Place 2 Be in West Hartford, CT. We get everything from swings facing the Blue Back Square to a large tree right in the center of the restaurant to eclectic collection of menu.
Verdictum: A fun place where you could go as a family or just a girls evening out or that much needed date with your partner. Swing along the swings to the yummy creations while you reconnect with whoever you are going with. (Don’t miss the Lemonade in the Bathtub)
Here are my 2 cents:
First Impressions:
1) Definitely the Swings take the cake for me at this joint. I love swings and thoroughly enjoyed them.
2) Comfortable outdoor seating while you are waiting.
3) Beautiful interiors with a large tree in the center that you cant miss.
4) Eclectic menu that is not only fun to look at but to eat as well. Notice the Lemonade in the Bathtub. I laughed so much couldn’t stop for a while.
5) Pleasant service by servers all together.
Amelioration:
1) Nothing that I can think of.
