Death Valley is a very arid desert location that has very little to do anything related to do with flowers. However once in a while when they get heavy rains that make the habitat above average precipitation, it paves way to beautiful Superblooms. This is a rare occurrence although past few years this has been a frequent occurrence (2023, 2019, 2017).

We were lucky to witness them this year on our trip to Death Valley. There were miles and miles of yellow flowered Superblooms, specially in the Panamint Valley. A bucket list item checked!
