Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
I am huge fan of both actors Donnie and Mark Wahlberg. So it was a pleasant surprise to see a restaurant, Wahlburgers, owned by them right across the street from where we stayed in Boston for the Cupid's Undie Run that I did in February. They are huge Red Sox fans judging by the pictures in the restaurant.
Verdictum: Good for Hamburgers, although I didn’t eat them. Rest is ok in taste. Go for a chance to see the Wahlbergs when they happen to visit on the off-chance.
Here are my 2 cents:
First Impressions:
- Ambience is cute and lively.
- Interesting to see the life of the Wahlbergs in the form of pictures and writings on the wall.
- Reasonably priced even though food was ok.
- Cute nook for gear for sale.
Amelioration:
- Include more options for vegetarians.
- Outside the bun choices also need to be added.
