It's been hectic... but here I am!
There has been so much going on in my life lately. I don't know where to begin, but to say I am alive and kicking!
First off, most of you have probably heard about Rick's dad passing away. If not, this is what happened: Monday, April 3rd Mark David Reasor was walking home from his routinely walk. When he was about a block away he was hit with a massive heart attack and died suddenly. He was found quickly and rushed to the hospital but the hospital run was not needed. A couple hours afterward, Rick and I found out and were on the road to be with his family. My old '89' car actually made the 4 hour trip and my tired eyes made it too. We arrived in Bryan at about 3:30 in the morning. The funeral was the following Friday and the week was filled with meetings with lawyers and discussions about funeral arrangements. Rick and his brother Randy have so much to deal with right now and it doesn't help much that Randy is pressuring Rick about a lot of stuff. Please keep Rick in your prayers, it wasn't much over a year ago that he lost his mom and now he's having to deal with the loss of both of his parents at the age of 22.
Also, last night, if you read Hillary's post, my car was having issues. I was out with Rick and Hillary going out for ice-cream when all of a sudden my car decided to quit working right out in the middle of the street. Rick had to hop out of the car and push us into the UDF parking lot (which was where we were wanting to go anyway). After a few seconds of being stunned, we started making phone calls to figure out what to do and Rick's brother made a few suggestions and magically the car started working again. So I don't know it Mimi is actually cured or if she is waiting to ultimately break... we'll see.
What else has been going on in my life? Hmmm... good question. Sometimes I seriously feel like life is just breezing by at such high speeds that I can't even find the words to tell it to stop or to slow down. I don't know I guess I'm just rambling, but I feel so drained even though I haven't been doing too much though I have...
In other news, Rick and I have been spending a lot of time together and I really don't care what anyone thinks, I love him and that's all that matters. Thank you to those of you who are supporting us and who have apologized to me for having problems. I just hope that the rest of you will see the error of your ways. We are meant for each other and are growing closer everyday.
