I know but... Dad! He'd never let me go all that way for all that long, even if it is in the holidays... I wouldn't miss school (we wouldn't miss school) but still... It's a long time.

And besides I'd have to TALK to people. Important people! Record and venue type people who will get angry at me if anything goes wrong and no, I can't do it.

Oh like HELL anyone is going to get angry at you when I'm around. You can teach me how to tell people to shut up in Japanese and it'll be fine. I'll practice on people like Rhys Spencer.

You're 18 now, you'll be 19 in a few months, he has to learn that you can leave for a while without anything disastrous happening (and you need to learn that too) I get that things have happened that make you both paranoid about leaving but you can't stay at home forever.
