Yowza?
Okay, rocked a pre-interview for another job. The actual interview is Wednesday next week; this meeting was just an intro to the job. Hmm.
Haven't heard back from the first place yet! I was assured we'd know by the end of the week. (At a different time they said they would know by the end of yesterday. Maybe that was just one person's say-so; who knows.) I think I wowed 'em... Maybe this is one of those "young 'n naive" moments. I hear a distant operaitons manager sneering, "Hah! Kid, I shit better underwriter trainees than you. You have no concept for how competitive this market is. Your imagination isn't big enough."
Bah. I bet they're just taking their time. I'll be awfully surprised if I receive no contact at all, even if I didn't get the position. These folks are more professional than that.
