Hope all of you had a lovely, leapin' Lupercalia!

Quick puzzler: if Barack wins the democratic nomination and goes on to win the presidency, will that make America an Obamanation?

I can understand the laugh! Though I don't think our views are totally different. I think I am just fed up with Politicians. I do not believe our country was created to allow politicians to run amok like they do now. None of the canidates who have presented themselves for president are true leaders. They are all politicians with their own agenda, rather than a true love of country and a true desire to lead the greatest nation on earth.

I understand the groundswell behind Obama, however, a closer look at his life and his speeches reveals a man playing politics and striving for approval. Clinton...do I even need to go there? McCain has built his life around playing politics, who knows what shady things will creep up from his past. Huckabee? What a joke. Guliani had a real shot, but his personal life was a disaster, how could he be counted on to hold a country together? The list goes on and on. The only truly fresh face in this mess is Ron Paul who, I am afraid, is just a few bricks shy of a load -- almost, but not quite, the conservative kookookucinich.

Just show me a person who will stick to his beliefs regardless of polls or surveys or media coverage and I will respect him even if I do not agree with him. None of the current canidates have my respect.
