The Shrewdness of Apes!

When I was a kid, I made this board that had weird names of groups of animals on one side and the name of the animal on the other side, and it was wired so that when you touched the ones that matched with two little wands, a light bulb lit up. I think it was for a science fair.

That being said, I didn't know some of these and they are interesting. I wonder how they all came to be.

hah. that's pretty neat! as to the origins, who knows? our friend the OED would tell us.
