ran to the tower when the church bells chimed.

Cas had been in the cast for weeks now, and to escape the pain he'd been taking twice the dosing that Chuck prescribed him just so he could sleep. He very fleetingly left his cabin, every now and then Dean would stop by and hold a meeting in there just to make him feel a part of things but they'd leave just as quickly as they came. He knew his fearless leader was getting worse when he didn't even pause to give him a passing look of recognition when he left the cabin for the last time.

Cas was half asleep when Sadie and Jessica entered the cabin, drunk by the looks of it and giggling while keeping each other upright. Cas rolled over on his bunk and instantly regretted it, the brace hit the wood and sent a pang of pain up the length of his leg.

"Oh, you poor baby," one of them chimed, he wasn't sure which. He was still thickly rested in the haze of his narcotics. They took a seat on either side of him. "What was it like... being an angel?" Cas didn't answer. He never answered those questions out of respect for what had once been. The blonde, Jessica, reached out to rub his knee and he instinctively jerked away. She calmed him, whispered things, and he wearily kept an eye on her, it was when Sadie joined in, both of them knowing full well what they were doing that his own body began to react in ways that he wasn't sure of. Things continued, Cas shamefully responded in the ways that he knew how and he was sure that he lost a piece of himself by the time that they were done, sitting there riding through something he couldn't explain in the sweater Chuck had brought him earlier, with his pants around his ankles. The girls eventually left when they figured out he wasn't willing to go all the way and Cas was left where he'd been sitting the whole time looking confused, disoriented, and pleased.

Dinner was soon, he pulled the covers up and around him protectively, bunching them at his waist... not really sure why he felt as he did or if they were normal feelings. He stayed removed from the world in his cabin until he fell asleep again.
