got all of my grades in - i feel i need to toss out the caveat that Loyola Law curves to the C, and has no issue with it before i sound weirdly proud of my 2.6 (officially my lowest GPA since high school, y'all!) but you know what? I got 2 B's - one from a professor who grades notoriously tough - and my C (property - booo!) was in a class i KNEW i was having a tough time with anyway. So - next week I meet with my prof's and figure out where it all went horribly awry. Fingers crossed - I would love to get my Torts grade up to a B - i WORKED that class!!!
Other than that - recovering from a HORRID bout of bronchitis, getting ready for my pops to come into town and drive me nuts for a few days, trying to get it together for Mardi Gras and hoping to kick way more ass in school this semester.
The mister's 40th birthday surprise extravaganza went off amazingly well - I will discuss more when it is NOT 5 aye em and i am not in bed yet (icky!)but it was wonderful and incredible and we both have been over the moon ever since.
a little bit of weirdness with a close friend, but this is not the appropriate venue so i shall hush my mouth about it for now.
taking a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas at the end of the month - man do i ever need some beach and chill time. I am hoping it will be just the ticket to get me back to my positive healthy happy space after all of the stress and wackiness that has ensued in recent months. fingers crossed for me - I need some refreshment badly!!! Pina colada on a pink sand beach, anyone??
Can't even bear to get into the work situation - things are looking up a bit but still not quite perfect. Now, if this wretched low key panic attack would subside and the xannie would kick in, i could take myself to bed. But not quite yet, cause i still feel just a wee bit panicky. Nothing more unnerving than some low grade wonkiness that just won't let you relax, eh?
Late tonight i was coming up the stairs to check on my illing pregnant pal who was napping on my couch - i found my upstairs neighbor passed out flat on his back in front of my door. I had no idea he was diabetic - i thought he was merely an alcoholic ;) apparently not! His blood sugar was down to 50, so we had to call 911. that was all a bit much - and i have been weirded out ever since. Time to chill, relax and get into bed with 'the heart is a lonely hunter' till i can finally fall asleep. nighty night kids - talk to you soon! MWAH!!!
