[... well, so much for keeping it from the others.]
It's okay, Omi, I stopped.
[And it's probably obvious just from the sound of his voice that Ken really isn't feeling himself. He sounds as drained as he looks and the damnedest thing is there's really no reason for it--

[YOU ASKED FOR IT BUDDY.
The feed has been cut off. Outside your apartment, you may hear a neighboring door opened and forcefully closed. You will now hear your own door opened and forcefully closed. You will now see your best friend standing in front of you.]
Ken-kun...! Come on!
[You will now have your wrist grabbed whether you had the sense to shut up and surrender or not. You are now being towed most deliberately towards the door.
Just... never mind the fact that technically you're stronger than him :D]
[What the Hell is Omi doing? Ken blinks at the feed, at first unable to process quite what it means by dying on them like that. That's all he needs, for the damn Dreamberry to go on the blink on top of everything else. The thing's annoying enough when it's working, never mind when it's mostly not--
[Door slam 1. Door slam 2. That... wasn't the Dreamberry, was it.
[Gonna be looking up now.]
Dammit Omi what do you think you're--
[Ken pulls back. Omi's towing him to the door and Ken most emphatically does not want the towing. He wants to sit right back where he was and maybe have a nap and perhaps have another go with the scissors when nobody else is looking. So he pulls back - not as hard as he could do on a good day, but hard enough to prove that he means it.]
[That odd cry at the end? Is the sound of Omi-- a boy with imperfect balance to begin with-- tugged squarely off of it. He wildly flails his free arm but to no avail.
CRASH. Right into Ken. And from there right to the floor.
[Ken had hoped that pulling on his wrist would get Omi to let him go so they could... well, maybe they could talk about it a bit more or something. He hadn't intended it to cause... well, whatever you called this apart from insult to injury. Omi's fall, at least, would have been slightly cushioned. Unfortunately for Ken, it had been slightly cushioned by Ken.]
[Right then. Current position: on the bedroom floor somewhere beneath Omi Tsukiyono, who in spite of appearances seriously seems to weigh a shitload. Or maybe that's just because he's stuck underneath him. Ken gives the boy an experimental push, hoping that it'll at least serve to dislodge him a bit, and struggles to raise himself to his elbows. He's not sure if this is more difficult than usual because he's so wiped or more difficult than usual because he doesn't usually have Omi on top of him.
[Small mercies, at least he didn't video this bit.]
[Omi doesn't immediately move with the push. It's not a matter of spite; he just isn't done getting his bearings yet. A few seconds later he slowly pushes himself off and sits beside him.]
Yeah... I'm ok. You?
[He's already moving to help Ken back to his feet.]
and here, too...insorrowJuly 30 2011, 00:14:53 UTC
Fine.
[See that? That is what we call lying.
[Ken's not fine. He's exhausted, he's badly bruised and aching all over - had been even before he went over, actually - and he's got some stupid crystal stuck to him; he's very clearly not fine and he knows it. He's pretty sure Omi does as well. But what else is he supposed to say, really? So he smiles vaguely and says I'm fine and wishes it were true as he lets Omi help him back up.]

[Well. Maybe there's one.]

You need to see a doctor. Right away.
[And stopping your protest before it can come.] --"I'm fine," it isn't! Doc. tor.
[DO YOU SEE THIS STERN LOOK, KEN? YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ENERGY TO ARGUE WITH IT. TRUST ME.]

But... it's just this place being weird again, can't we wait and see if it goes away? Everything always did before!

I... that wasn't meant to happen, Omi. [Sorry.]
