My new fangirl crush is Iwan Rheon.
How much of a fangirl crush? If I was expecting a baby this year, it'd have a Welsh name. Its embarrassing.
Iwan Rheon has been cast for season 3 of Game of Thrones.
Frack, why couldn't you do a proper British period drama or something!?
I don't want to watch Game of Thrones and (IMO) its scarring sex for the sake

One of the reasons he was cast is probably his ability to make the most unnerving smile. Like, genuinely amused but in the worst possibly context. And you're absolutely right about the strong possibility that despite everything lined up for his character, most fans will probably like him. His Misfit's character's first endeavour in love was chilling. There's this scene where he's eating lunch in a freezer room making a part sad, part lonely, mostly unnerving long face at the frozen corpse of the ex-girlfriend he "accidentally" killed and has propped up to keep him company and YOU CAN'T FEEL ANYTHING BUT SHIT SORRY FOR HIM THAT HE'S SO LONELY. I actually felt tears welling up. It was such a perverse scene to find emotionally moving. Anyway, that's pretty much why I figured his casting a no-brainer. I don't know anything about the character he's rumoured to be playing, but I had a pretty good guess and you confirmed it for me.
Oh man, I am totally watching the first 3 series of Misfits again (the ones he's in). Watch again his transformation from socially-damaged creep to kinda sexy ARMS hero who's all "Oh why YES I am rather fit and attractive without clothes on, good on you for noticing while I'm taking an open shower. Now I'm going to part my lips and frown ever so slightly in concern (but really just to emphasize my hypnotic pale blue puppy eyes to work my powers) and all you'll see is an irresistibly sexy naked man telling you that you WILL fall in love with him, so you do."
