because I cannot, in good conscience, end the holidays nor start off the new year without a proper SIMs post. What can I say? Old loves never die.
Act One: Patience is the virtue of a stubborn heart
The case of Kaname and Yuuki
The danger of an innocent flirtation
is that it never stays innocent for long.
And sometimes a moment of weakness
is the moment that determines it all.
Luckily, in this case, it is a happily ever after (for now!)
Act Two: Even a princess can forget she's not a dog
The case of the beloved Uchiha daughter, Selene
At first I thought it would be kind of neat to give a motherless toddler with a busy (but nonetheless doting) father a dog as her Guardian/Nanny. You know, a la Peter Pan. The specially trained dog is called Muu. I never thought it would lead to such a... er... curious development of her personality!
From an early age, Selene has preferred the company of her 'brothers and sisters' more than actual people.
But oh my! What a gorgeous child Selene is growing up to be! So what if she whistles for no apparent reason every chance she gets? That just means she's a musical prodigy in the making!
LOL, I can only begin to imagine how boys might try to court her as a teenager with her pack around (2 boy puppies, 1 girl puppy and Muu)
In Conclusion: There will always ALWAYS be surprises, so keep the camera ready.
Dur. Werewolf snatching?
'You know I'm kind of REALLY not comfortable with girls...'
'You don't have to talk to her. Just play!'
[Oooh, HELLO hot stuff! Santa knew I was a good girl afterall...]
SH@#?&%½T!!! ITS ALWAYS THE CUTE ONES!

And finally, it was interesting to look at how three different SIMs have developed in my game.
Kakashi in particular is a veteran sim who has thrived in my game from the very beginning years and years ago! Its weird, but I never thought I was the kind of player who gets sentimental and prefer upgrading older sims rather than creating new ones.
Okay, so I've more or less retired him from his Naruto character origins, but the man has an uncanny ability for makeovers! How ancient is Kakashi? He's so ancient, he has outlived all other SIMs of his first generation (including 2 brothers), three further generations, two neighborhoods, and is the great-great-grandfather/uncle of a handful of current sims.
Itachi has always been the prodigal son in my game. Not just because he is my very FIRST in-game born SIM, but because he is just so damn fun to play! It must be a character trait, because there is no other SIM I will let loose on Free Will as much as I do him just to see what happens! He was born to Kakashi's brother and another sim I can't even remember the name of anymore. He's gone through COUNTLESS makeovers, but most dramatic of all was his transformation into the resident vampire. His
death and
resurrection is still my favorite story ever played.
Was never really a fan of Sakura (good female anime characters are too few and far in between, IMO), but as a sim she totally made me an ItaSaku fan! What can I say but that they both mature and makeover so well.
LOL, what can I say? Even though I am no longer so cannon with the look and actions of my sim characters based on Naruto, my die-hard obsession for Uchiha still shows. :p
